It is a very real problem. What do we do about the nations that are adversely affected by global climate change? The dire consequences do not only effect a few small islands in the Pacific but the whole planet. No one will escape them

We have known of the problem for at least five decades. Passing and extending Kyoto and turning 2/3 of the Australian energy supply into nuclear, wind, and solar power would an heroic endeavor, to be sure. But if countries such as China and India continue to industrialize, global warming will likely continue and perhaps accelerate no matter what we do here in Australia. We're probably 'rooted' already
